2008-12-18Brinn Incorporated's latest transmission, the Pro 2.0, has been approved by ASA for use in its Late Model Series. Any racer who participates in ASA
North, South, and or Challenge series can benefit from using the Pro 2.0, as well as other Brinn products. ASA Late Model Series is a fast-growing
premier alternative for touring racers. Visit

Racers who use a Pro 2.0 transmission have some unique advantages over their competition. First, the Pro 2.0 has the lowest rotating weight, or inertia,
of any transmission available today. Reducing inertia is a critical factor when trying to squeeze every ounce of horsepower and torque out of the ASA
mandated crate engines as well as improve acceleration. Even more gains can be had when the Pro 2.0 is bolted to a Brinn Inc. asphalt bellhousing. The
ride height of the racecar can be decreased because the transmission is no longer the lowest point on the racecar. Additional inertia can be eliminated
by using the Brinn Inc. externally balanced flywheel in combination with a Brinn Inc. reverse mount starter. The dry sump and power steering pumps can
be bolted to the integral pump mount on the bellhousing and can be driven by the HTD pulley on the externally balanced flywheel.
